In the Fall of 2017, I was selected to join a team of 16 SCAD students collaborating for academic credit with Delta Air Lines to research and develop creative concepts for a branded event that will reveal the new Delta uniform collection, designed by Zac Posen, to over 30,000 employees during an in-person fitting experience in 16 select cities throughout the US and around the world.
The final deliverables consisted of a new floor plan, custom fixtures, as well branding and environmental graphics for Delta’s fitting event. Fabrication for the event began in the Winter of 2017, and the traveling fitting events began on January 2018, and Will continue until March 2018.
The Delta widget uniform display, features a modular widget stage that holds twelve mannequins. The design can be broken down and assembled easily; perfect for the traveling fitting event. The widget display also featured a installation above the mannequins that showcases a whimsical paper airplane installation.
